M.Ziethlow's Biography

An innovative, goal driven, change oriented business leader with experience in large and small organizations. A leader who improves team performance through positive motivation, setting challenging goals, and recognizing performance. A business leader who understands all aspects of the business from operations to HR. An individual contributor with expertise in business systems analysis, project management, business process transformation, and systems modernization. A team player who works with and through others to influence change.

As an experienced leader, Mike has been responsible for setting direction and delivering systems and processes that support and enhance business strategy, innovation, and change. He works with executives, managers, and functional resources to define needs, goals, requirements, and plans to ensure alignment of strategy and direction with the business model and needs. He has implemented business process improvement and re-engineering methods and tools across a wide variety of business functions and processes. He is a student of various process improvement techniques from Harrington to Hammer, QS9000, TS16949, Lean Methods, Value Stream Mapping, and Six Sigma. Mike brings over 20 years of experience managing information technology organizations. Prior to joining the management ranks his focus was on applications development, business process analysis, re-engineering, and generally using information systems to improve business processes.

Mike’s modus operandi is to increase value received for investments in systems and processes; to help others be successful in their roles in the business; to facilitate a process focused approach to achieve understanding of the business, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and to foster change, learning, and growth in an organization.

Mr. Ziethlow holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Analysis from Miami University, Oxford Ohio, and an MBA from Duke University.
